Description
Standing UV Light with USB power, fast cure setting and extremely low energy consumption, very thin and lightweight perfect for DIY kits for keepsake, breastmilk and memorial jewellery. Can be shipped to your client as part of a DIY kit in a bubble mailer or “large letter” style envelope, saving shipping costs. With good aftercare and cooler curing your UV resin should not yellow at all. UV resin is suitable for small pieces, doming, with water clear moulds. Please see our individual mould listings for a guide to which are suitable but we do not recommend anything larger than 20mm across or more than 12mm thick. This resin is more environmentally friendly than epoxy as there is much less wastage, no need to mix up your resin in advance, just pour, cure and go.
Please read our full Terms and Conditions and FAQ page before ordering.

Using a Standing UV Light
Simply pour resin into your mould. You can also add your clients’ elements or inclusions like breastmilk, lock of hair, umbilical cord and placenta or cremation ashes. Then cure in thin layers in the UV lamp. I like to use my phone to time for one minute, then cool completely in between bursts of light.
This video I made shows you how to make a resin cremation ashes ring, you can read the full blog here
Please note, this product does not contain a timer or an off switch, so you will need to plug it in when you’re ready to start, use a timer for one minute then unplug when cured. I recommend you place a cardboard box lined with tin foil around the UV pen and the piece you’re curing, and a piece of foil underneath, to improve the strength of the light. In tests, this UV Pen Light cured an 11mm sphere and a 10x8mm oval cabochon within around 30 seconds and I recommend curing two or three times to be certain. I used Padico Star Drops resin for the tests.
