PRO TIP: did you know you can antique your silver with a little liver of sulphur (LOS). I use a tiny shot glass, a few drops of LOS and some water then add the silver. After a few minutes the silver will be coated with a black or brown layer. If it’s brown, repeat until the silver is as dark as you need. Polish up the high points back to silver with a silver polishing cloth. Please note, this liquid smells like rotten eggs, you can even use a smashed up boiled egg in a bag with the silver to add this effect. This is known as antiquing or a silver patina and I love the effect.
