Engravable Heart Pendants, made of solid sterling silver 925 or sometimes Argentium silver 940. Please note, these ARE NOT suitable for adding resin or your clients’ ashes or breastmilk. They are suitable for text engraving and image engraving or handstamping. All you need to do is add a silver necklace chain for your customer and perhaps a bail upgrade, or a dangle charm setting to turn it into a dangle charm. Perfect for selling as an add-on piece or as a stand-alone engraved or simple necklace or charm.

925 Silver

The silver in these Engravable Heart Pendants necklace or dangle charm add-ons is recycled 925 sterling silver, only some of them are 925 stamped, none of these settings are hallmarked (not required as they are under the UK hallmarking weight). Sometimes, where noted, they are Argentium 940. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. They each have a small loop at the top and come with an unsoldered jump ring already attached. You can switch this out for a bail upgrade, for example a Bubble Pendant Bail.

Laser Engraved Text Options

Add your text, any amount of characters – upper and lower case, numbers and punctuation in your chosen font. You can choose Roman numerals, birth, marriage or death coordinates (we’re happy to help you work that out), or messages of love and hope, remembrance. We are even happy to include more “colourful” language. The more letters you choose, the smaller the writing will be.

Here are some special characters you can copy and paste, they will appear in black and may be a slightly different shape when engraved. We can do heart, sun, moon left or right, star, infinity symbol, musical notes (pair of quavers), droplet/teardrop, paw prints, footprints, horseshoe, butterfly. Please ask for more!

Engraving Fonts

Engraving on Engravable Heart Pendants is done in Arial font as standard but please let us know if you’d prefer another font such as Times New Roman, Vivaldi, Amazone BT, or Silver South Serif & Script. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your client’s chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives and you can always send us the .ttf file. Always let us know in the comments of the text engraving product before adding it to the basket if you don’t want arial. We recommend Arial, Times New Roman or Silver South Serif for long messages, and handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script are great for short messages and on larger pieces.

We are happy to engrave “sweary” messages and we are usually able to do some special characters and accents but please double check with us by email or message before accepting the order and we may need to do it as an image instead or another font. The length of the text we can fit depends on the font style and the size of the piece so again please double check if you’re unsure.

Engravable Heart Pendants Proof checking

We will NOT proof the engraving so if you send over the text without specifying font, position and location we will do it in arial font in the position we think looks best. We will NOT check spelling and position so if it’s engraved as you’ve asked and you then realise it’s wrong, we will charge you again to engrave and for the cost of the piece if it can’t be sanded out. 10 working day lead time from receipt of all engraving information and payment.
