10mm Heart charm with ring for attaching charm settings. Perfect for use with our 10mm heart moulds. Just attach a chain or bracelet finding and include your clients’ elements in resin. Not suitable for pouring unless you file off the scalloped edges, you will achieve a far more professional finish if you use a mould then push the edges over with a curved burnisher.
If you would prefer a partially finished 10mm bezel setting click here, they are great for making your own rings and necklaces.
10mm Heart Bezel Size
Size: 12mm (fit heart cabochon approximately 10mm), 0.8mm thickness back plate and sturdy scalloped edge. They can be engraved (click here) or handstamped.
Caution! These hand-finished scalloped edge jewellery settings are definitely handmade in nature. You may notice flaws and imperfections, scratches and please don’t expect a perfect finish. If you are looking for large-scale mass produced perfection we would recommend buying from these folks on Etsy instead. These pieces are finished to a satin sheen and not a mirror polished finish.
I find that the heart range sells for at least £80/piece and you can charge £120 for a heart shaped breastmilk dangle charm with this setting and either a lobster clasp or a European charm tube (for Pandora style bracelets), so it is worth the investment. Please do not take photos for stock images without permission, images coming soon!
935 Antitarnish Silver
The silver in these settings is 935 antitarnish silver, which is 100% recycled (including our own scrap silver!). The 10mm hearts are made from a custom 935 antitarnish white silver. The bail is made from a sterling silver jump ring and we use sterling silver solder paste. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. You can advertise these as 935 antitarnish silver or 925 sterling silver.
You can choose to include a single compatible 10mm heart mould or add a double 10mm heart cabochon mould here. Please note the sizing info in the description!
Our scalloped settings are all hand finished/polished. Although we try our best to remove scratches we can’t always achieve a perfect finish in-house. We could send ours to be polished by polishing experts, but that would increase the cost significantly and we find our customers usually prefer handmade and affordable to factory perfection. You’re welcome to refinish any pieces you feel could be polished better. If you require a finish with no imperfections we will be happy to recommend other retailers who have the equipment to achieve that.
