Crown Heart Necklace Settings 10mm or 18mm heart necklace setting and option to create a kit. Includes a jump ring already attached so all you need to do is add a necklace chain and your resin heart. Making A Heart Necklace

You can purchase the pendant setting by itself, it’s perfect for use with our 10mm heart moulds and 18mm heart moulds. Please let me know in the comments when you order if you’d like a patina (antique effect) applied, this is no extra charge. The rest of the kit contents are listed below if you’d like to buy it all separately and this can be more cost-effective if you’re making pieces professionally or making several for family members. We include a single mould with the kits but it’s easier to make two hearts at once to offer your client a choice, so you may wish to purchase the double mould. You may want to order the complete set of resin sparkle mix blends, and other supplies, a pack of cocktail sticks, and larger bottles of resin for example.

These settings are one of first items of silver settings we stocked here at Keepsaker Supplies. The 10mm heart has been specially designed for us and are so far exclusive to us! Comes with a removable secure sterling silver jump ring

Kit Contents

If you’d like to buy this necklace setting as a kit you’ll receive:

• 1 x crown point heart necklace setting with jump ring
• single compatible heart cabochon mould
• a dust mask
• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 3 cocktail sticks
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper here
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder and these Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions (breastmilk kit only)

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll need to provide yourself (not included):

• a necklace chain
• a 48w UV lamp or UV pen light
• your clients’ elements and any additional sparkles and dried petals
• a curved burnisher tool (if possible)

Heart Necklace Setting

Size: 19x21mm (fit stone approximately 18x16mm), or 11x11mm to fit 10mm heart, jump ring is 5.5mm, 1mm thick. Not ideal for engraving, please see our Scalloped Heart Necklace Setting which is closed back.

I find that the heart range sells for at least £90/piece with a necklace chain, so it is worth the investment if you are good at upselling extras to your clients. Use our stock images to encourage sales.

Lots of clients choose to have their jewellery engraved with a message of love, breastfeeding sentiments, remembrance, dates and names. Laser Engraved Text Options

Add your text, any amount of characters – upper and lower case, numbers and punctuation in your chosen font. You can choose Roman numerals, birth, marriage or death coordinates (we’re happy to help you work that out), or messages of love and hope, remembrance. We are even happy to include more “colourful” language. The more letters you choose, the smaller the writing will be.

Here are some special characters you can copy and paste, they will appear in black and may be a slightly different shape when engraved. We can do heart, sun, moon left or right, star, infinity symbol, musical notes (pair of quavers), droplet/teardrop, paw prints, footprints, horseshoe, butterfly. Please ask for more!

Engraving Fonts

Engraving on Engravable Heart Pendants is done in Arial font as standard but please let us know if you’d prefer another font such as Times New Roman, Vivaldi, Amazone BT, or Silver South Serif & Script. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your client’s chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives and you can always send us the .ttf file. Always let us know in the comments of the text engraving product before adding it to the basket if you don’t want arial. We recommend Arial, Times New Roman or Silver South Serif for long messages, and handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script are great for short messages and on larger pieces.

We are happy to engrave “sweary”, adult  and D/s messages. We love to work with other languages and alphabets, special characters and accents but please double check with us by email or message before accepting the order and we may need to do it as an image instead or another font. The length of the text we can fit depends on the font style and the size of the piece so again please double check if you’re unsure.

Proof checking

We will NOT proof the engraving so if you send over the text without specifying font, position and location we will do it in arial font in the position we think looks best. We will NOT check spelling and position so if it’s engraved as you’ve asked and you then realise it’s wrong, we will charge you again to engrave and for the cost of the piece if it can’t be sanded out. 10 working day lead time from receipt of all engraving information and payment.

Heart Necklace Chain

Although this kit doesn’t include a chain, we sell some necklace chains here (click) and you can purchase the length you need according to your client’s preferences. You might want to buy in some inexpensive 20″/50cm lightweight chains to include free of charge with necklaces as clients will usually expect a chain. We found on Tree of Opals that even if we advertised a piece as not including a chain, we used to still receive complaints that one was not included. I doubt many people will read this and we will get complaints about the lack of chain but I want to give you the option to purchase them locally inexpensively or upsell your clients to a premium chain. You can usually get chains from local suppliers such as Cookson Gold (UK), Rashbel (Israel) and Rio Grande (USA) or buy a silver necklace chain here on Etsy. We find you can make a little extra income from upselling chain upgrades and other accessories and ensure that your client has a strong, sturdy chain according to their needs.

Breastmilk necklaces we would definitely always advise are upsold to stronger chains as many people ordering breastmilk jewellery will have babies and toddlers who will try to grab them! Just make sure that your client knows the necklaces are not child-safe, should be worn with care and common sense and not used as fiddle beads/teething jewellery! I tried to always make the difference between breastmilk jewellery and breastfeeding jewellery clear!

Types of Silver
