Please read our full Terms and Conditions and FAQ page before ordering. This glass has not been tested in lampworking, glass blowing, glass fusing or stained glass and we cannot guarantee the results for this purpose or the safety of heating this art glass. It is being sold only for use in resin. This product is sold by 5ml volume not by weight; due to the sizes of some glass being different some packs will weigh slightly more than others. Measurements are done by hand and may not be exact but we always try to add a little more than less.

Using Crushed Glass Birthstone Set

Crushed Glass for Resin work beautifully in epoxy and UV resin. The resulting vibrancy will depend on how much of the flakes or grains you use, how it’s placed and your other additions, inclusions and elements. Cremation ashes, for example, vary in colour from white through to browns, greys and black. Please make sure you tell your clients you cannot guarantee a shade but feel free to show them the glass itself and as many example photos as possible. Stock images coming soon.

Simply premix this Crushed Glass for Resin with pre-mixed epoxy resin then pour this into your mould, or push it into a mould already filled with epoxy or UV resin, or sprinkle in a setting along with resin sparkle mixes or breastmilk pearly sparkle mixes. You can also add your clients’ elements or inclusions like breastmilk, lock of hair, umbilical cord and placenta or cremation ashes. Then cure in the usual way. Or you can add your resin to the mould before adding the forget-me-not flowers.

Also perfect for orgonite pyramids, resin art, acrylic pouring art and other mixed media projects.

Grinding
This product can be ground more in a pestle and mortar. Please be extremely careful working with broken glass, use full PPE including gloves, a dust mask and safety goggles especially if crushing further. If working with UV resin we recommend you work in layers to achieve beautiful depths of colour.
