Description
Ayla Solitaire Ring Setting made of solid Argentium silver, which is 1% purer than sterling silver. A 6mm round bezel cup that’s curved inwards at the top will hold in resin securely, it makes this ring ideal for filling but also suitable for cabochons. This new hybrid ring design works for any style whether you like to work directly in the setting or create a stone first. Here’s a blog on the pros and cons of rubover bezels v’s filling and we’re planning a video soon to show you how this works.
Named after Nikki’s eldest daughter, the Ayla ring is a new concept in the keepsake and memorial jewellery industry.
These rings are available to ship straight away and do not need to be made to order as we stock every size from UK L upwards (we can add smaller sizes on request especially for larger orders). We can also create this ring in any metal to order, just get in touch for a quote based on current metal prices such as 9ct gold and platinum.
Perfect for use with our 6mm round cabochon mould or you can fill with resin in safe knowledge that it can’t pop out again. You can order some ring stock images here to show your clients some mockups before they buy (please remember the instructions for use advise you to tell your clients results will vary!).

935 Argentium Silver
The silver in these settings is 935 Argentium silver, which is 100% recycled. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. You can advertise these as 935 antitarnish silver or just 925 sterling silver – your customers may query Argentium if they haven’t come across it before but it’s a great opportunity to let them know it’s less likely to tarnish than sterling. These gorgeous silver rings are made proudly in Scotland in the United Kingdom and come out with a beautiful layer of white pure silver which is polished off by hand after the sprues are removed.
Ayla Solitaire Ring Finish
The Ayla Solitaire Ring is not polished to a mirror shiny finish, they are pin polished so they have a satin shine. We try to remove all scratches from the production process but can’t always spot everything so if you have any questions about the item you’re received please just get in touch and you’re welcome to return if they’re not what you hoped for. They are sold as semi-finished, so you’re more than welcome to refinish the rings yourself – we recommend these Micro-Mesh ultra fine sanding pads.
Silver Polishing Cloths
Customers may wish to give their rings a quick polish before sending, you can buy a silver polishing cloth from us here. If you have an established business and would like some branded polishing cloths we use this company for our Tree of Opals cloths!
