Gold Plated Vermeil Necklace Settings

Description

Small Gold Vermeil Necklace Settings  for filling and gluing in cabochons made of gold vermeil. Gold vermeil is solid silver plated with gold (see more below). Includes a  jump ring already attached so all you need to do is add a necklace chain and fill with resin or add your resin or glass cabochon. You can buy a pack of five of these for upsell add-ons when making your customers an 8mm ring! Plated with one micron of 24ct gold.

Does not include ashes etc or chain as shown in the pictures. For the glue-in setting you’ll need a round cabochon mould. You can include a gold vermeil necklace chain for your customer. This will give you everything you need for a beautiful round necklace for your clients. You can buy a gold polishing cloth from us here!

If you’d like to buy this necklace setting as a kit you’ll receive:

• 1 x small gold vermeil necklace setting
• single round cabochon mould or steel direct pour practice setting
• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 1 x dust mask
• 3 cocktail sticks
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder (breastmilk kit only) and these Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll also need to provide yourself (not included):

• • an epoxy resin starter kit or a gel nail lamp
  • your clients’ elements an any additional sparkles, precious metal leaf or dried flowers etc
  • a curved burnisher for rubbing over the bezel cup

Gold Vermeil – 925 Silver

The silver in these settings is 925 sterling silver, they are not 925 stamped, none of these settings are hallmarked (not required as they are under the UK hallmarking weight). Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. They are plated 1 micron thick 24ct gold (unsuitable for being labelled gold vermeil in the USA).

Upselling

Absolutely perfect for upselling a to a client you’ve made a silver or gold 8mm ring for! It’s worth keeping a few of these on hand for those situations. For example, on our flagship store if a client orders a solid gold ring with an 8mm bezel cup we will create at least two cabochons to let them choose their favourite. We take a well-lit photo
