Heart Locket

Description

Heart Locket and Kit, solid silver heart shaped locket suitable for containing photos, locks of hair loose, loose cremation ashes, umbilical cord or placenta, sand, fabric or flowers. They are also perfect to be filled with resin with a direct pour method, adding colour and your client’s elements such as breastmilk. You can add a photo one side and fill the other (we recommend you have plenty of practice with direct pours to avoid costly mistakes; you can make a direct pour with a cheapie practice setting with your client’s permission and send them a photo to check they’re happy with the colours and placement.

Includes a beautiful 925 stamped bail already attached so all you need to do is add a necklace chain and your resin heart. Does not include ashes etc or chain as shown in the pictures.

You can include a silver necklace chain for your customer. This will give you everything you need for a beautiful heart shaped locket necklace for your clients.

Kit Contents

If you’d like to buy this necklace setting as a kit you’ll receive:

• 1 x 20mm heart locket setting with bail
• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 3 cocktail sticks
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder (breastmilk kit only)

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll also need to provide yourself (not included):

• • an epoxy resin starter kit or a gel nail lamp
  • your clients’ elements an any additional sparkles, precious metal leaf or dried flowers etc
  • a curved burnisher for rubbing over the bezel cup

Heart Locket Dimensions

The heart locket is 22mm across including the hinge and clasp, and 26mm high including the loop, plus the bail on top which is around 6mm tall and 4mm wide. Each side contains a white fabric backing suitable for placing hair, a photo or fabric onto. Over the fabric is a thin clear plastic glass-like screen to protect the photo. These can be removed to fill with resin. Please make sure your clients follow care instructions taking special care not to get the piece wet.

925 Silver

The silver in these settings is 925 sterling silver, they are not 925 stamped on the main heart but the bail is 925 stamped. They are not hallmarked (not required as they are under the UK hallmarking weight). No Mould

There is no compatible mould as they are for a direct pour. Please note the sizing info in the description!
