Description
Partial Channel Ring Setting made of solid 940 Argentium silver, which is 1% purer than sterling silver. No need for a bezel cup or mould, this ring is designed to be filled with resin. The tray goes part way over the top and does not need a lathe. You can work with UV resin and cure in layers.
This setting joins the Hannah Marquise ring setting and the Ayla Solitaire ring setting in our new range of settings for artists working in the keepsake and memorial jewellery industry.
These rings are available to ship straight away (when showing as in stock) and do not need to be made to order as we stock every size from UK M to S (we can add smaller and larger sizes on request especially for larger orders), please see our sizing info below! We can also create this ring in any metal to order, just get in touch for a quote based on current metal prices such as 9ct gold.
You can fill with resin in safe knowledge that it can’t pop out again due to the scoring inside. You can order some ring stock images here (coming soon) to show your clients some mockups before they buy (please remember the instructions for use advise you to tell your clients results will vary!).

940 Argentium Silver
The silver in these settings is 940 Argentium silver, which is 100% recycled. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. You can advertise these as 940 antitarnish silver or just 925 sterling silver – your customers may query Argentium if they haven’t come across it before but it’s a great opportunity to let them know it’s less likely to tarnish than sterling. These gorgeous silver rings are made proudly in Scotland in the United Kingdom and come out with a beautiful layer of white pure silver which is polished off by hand after the sprues are removed.
Partial Channel Ring Size
This is 2.3mm wide, 1.8mm tall with 120° channel for 1.5mm stones or resin channel. The Partial Channel Ring is a regular band and not comfort fit, meaning it has a flat band internally. Perfect for text engraving but probably too thin for us to be able to recommend image engraving. We highly recommend you find out your client’s ring size. You should not resize these rings once filled with resin; they can be enlarged prior to filling, up to two UK sizes, with care by a silversmith experienced in working with Argentium silver, please get in touch for advice.
Ring Finish
The Partial Channel Ring is polished to a satin finish. We try to remove all scratches from the production process but can’t always spot everything so if you have any questions about the item you’re received please just get in touch.
Silver Polishing Cloths
Customers may wish to give their rings a quick polish before sending, you can buy a silver polishing cloth from us here. If you have an established business and would like some branded polishing cloths we use this company for our Tree of Opals cloths!
