Channel Beads

Description

Channel Beads made of recycled solid sterling silver 925. Perfect for creating European style bracelets like Chamilia and Pandora. More photos coming soon!

Very simple design, we also sell dangle charm settings for Euro bracelets too. You can use a lathe to turn the bead when adding resin to get it to cure evenly but this is usually only necessary with epoxy resin. If you use UV resin you can put the channel bead onto a holder (I use reverse action tweezers, which seem to fit but you might try a chopstick or other tool), then turn by hand as it cures for the first ten seconds or so. If you’d like to buy this ring as a kit you’ll receive:

• practice direct pour setting
• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 3 cocktail sticks
• a dust mask
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder (breastmilk kit only) and free access to our Breastmilk Jewellery Course plus these Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll also need to provide yourself (not included):

• • an epoxy resin starter kit or a UV pen light
  • your clients’ elements an any additional sparkles, precious metal leaf or dried flowers etc

Sizing

The holes in these Channel Beads are 5.8mm making them perfect for all Pandora and Chamilia size bracelets for large hole European style beads. They will fit on the smaller Trollbeads style bracelets but be a little large. They can go on almost any smaller bracelet or necklace.

925 Sterling Silver

The silver in these settings is 925 sterling silver, which is 100% recycled. They are made in the USA. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content.

These are suitable for European style bracelets such as Chamilia and Pandora. If your client has a large link bracelet, like Thomas Sabo or Links of London please purchase a large carabiner clasp here.
