Regular Channel Ring

Description

Full Channel Ring Setting made of solid silver,minimum 925 content. No need for a bezel cup or mould, this ring is designed to be filled. You can work with UV resin and cure in layers, or put the ring on a cup spinner and use epoxy resin. Some of the stock we hold is curved and some is straight edges, our manufacturers can have variance in the stock and sometimes we make the rings by hand.

This setting joins the Hannah Marquise ring setting and the Ayla Solitaire ring setting in our new range of settings for artists working in the keepsake and memorial jewellery industry.

These rings are available to ship straight away (when showing as in stock) and do not need to be made to order as we stock every size from UK K upwards (we can add smaller sizes on request especially for larger orders), please see our sizing info below! We can also create this ring in any metal to order, just get in touch for a quote based on current metal prices such as 9ct gold and platinum.

925 Sterling and 940 Argentium Silver

The silver in these settings is a minimum of 925 sterling and sometimes 940 Argentium silver, which is 100% recycled. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content.

Channel Ring Size

Slim – 4mm total width, 2mm channel (width usually shows around 4.38mm but can be around 4mm) with sometimes flat and sometimes curved over edges to hold the resin in place. The Channel Ring is a wide band and not comfort fit, meaning it has a flat band internally. We highly recommend you find out your client’s ring size and recommend they go up one UK size (half a US size) to allow for the tight fit. You cannot resize these rings once filled with resin; they can be enlarged prior to filling, up to two UK sizes, with care by a silversmith experienced in working with Argentium silver, please get in touch for advice.

Channel Ring Finish

The Channel Ring is polished to a satin finish. We try to remove all scratches from the production process but can’t always spot everything so if you have any questions about the item you’re received please just get in touch.
