Solid Gold Orb Necklace Kit

Description

Solid gold Orb Necklace Kit made of solid 375 rose or yellow gold solid gold 6mm domed headpin, mould and other supplies. The headpin is 6cm length 0.8mm wide headpin with a shiny domed base, this looks like a mushroom and is perfect for setting fully drilled spheres made from our sphere moulds (click here). The 6mm domed base is large enough to cover the sanding area from the pouring spout on most of our spheres, or at least most of it. We always recommend you get a finish as perfect as possible on your sphere before fully drilling.

You can include a gold necklace chain for your customer (we recommend Cooksongold or Rio Grande). This will give you everything you need for a beautiful sphere necklace for your clients. You can buy a gold polishing cloth from us here!

If you’d like to buy this necklace setting as a kit you’ll receive:

• 1 x solid gold 6mm domed headpin
• single 11mm sphere mould
• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 3 cocktail sticks
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• 1mm drillbit
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder and these Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions (breastmilk kit only)

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll also need to provide yourself (not included):

• an epoxy resin starter kit or a gel nail lamp
• your clients’ elements an any additional sparkles, precious metal leaf or dried flowers etc
• a small USB drill or a Dremel style rotary tool work to make a hole, but a pearl drill will make sure it’s drilled spot on in the centre
• a necklace chain (see below) or a lobster clasp or a European setting for dangle charms

Size: 11mm sphere with a 6mm domed headpin, 6mm wide domed base, 6cm long headpin in 0.8mm wide wire.

375 Solid 9ct Gold and Hallmarking Exemption

The gold in these settings is 375 rose or yellow gold, which is 100% recycled. Please see our blog on Types of Gold Jewellery Settings which explains the care instructions for the gold and the metal content. These pretty headpins are made 100% by hand from gold sheet and wire with 9ct yellow gold solder. You can advertise these as solid gold without a UK hallmark as they are under 1g gold.
