Description
Sandpaper in one small rectangle around the size of a playing card. Perfect for shaping cabochon stones due to the extremely coarse grit. This product is included with all of our DIY kits, breastmilk and memorial. For the perfect resin stone, wear a dust mask (PPE’s so important) and gently rub your stone across the paper a few times to level the back. You can even use it to remove any blobs of resin or corners from the edges to fit more perfectly in your setting.

Here’s a tutorial on making an ashes ring using a cabochon

Perfect to set stones and cabochons, so they are even and straight in your setting. If you go overboard with the sanding then you can repurpose an old milk bottle or other thin plastic sheet. Put your stone on the plastic and draw around it, then cut out. Check it fits nicely in your setting. This only works for closed backed settings, like bezel rings, otherwise you will see it but it works a treat for raising a stone I’ve over-sanded.
