Description

Rotary Tool Grinding Bits or abrasive discs, ideal for beginners making solid silver, gold filled and solid gold rings, necklaces and settings. They work perfectly with a Dremel style tool or generic rotary tool with flex shaft. I prefer to use a pendant motor like the Foredom because you can control the speed with a foot pedal. I use the green polishing bits the most on all kinds of jewellery making.

3mm shank diameter which is the usual size, however you may need to change the collet in your rotary tool to switch between different size shanks. This is very easy and your rotary tool will come with a little key to change it and various size collets. Wool polishing bits can be used by themselves or with a polishing compound – I’d recommend tripoli and rouge, or green for metal, and white or yellow plastic polishes.

Order the free ring cutting chart which might help you to work out the length of silver to cut for the correct size. Double check the finished ring’s size on a ring sizing stick.
