Chunky Signet Ring

Description

Full Chunky Channel Ring Setting made of solid 940 Argentium silver, which is 1% purer than sterling silver. No need for a bezel cup or mould, this ring is designed to be filled. You can work with UV resin and cure in layers, or put the ring on a cup spinner and use epoxy resin. We have a partial channel ring setting here and channel bead settings here. We also offer this full channel ring in solid gold here.

This setting joins the Hannah Marquise ring setting and the Ayla Solitaire ring setting in our new range of settings for artists working in the keepsake and memorial jewellery industry.

These rings are available to ship straight away (when showing as in stock) and do not need to be made to order as we stock every size from UK K upwards (we can add smaller sizes on request especially for larger orders), please see our sizing info below! We can also create this ring in any metal to order, just get in touch for a quote based on current metal prices such as 9ct gold and platinum.

You can fill with resin in safe knowledge that it can’t pop out again. You can order some stock images here to show your clients some mockups before they buy (please remember the instructions for use advise you to tell your clients results will vary!).

940 Sterling Silver

The silver in these settings is 940 sterling silver, but not Argentium, it is 100% recycled. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. You can advertise these as 940 anti-tarnish silver or just 925 sterling silver – your customers may query 940 if they haven’t come across it before but it’s a great opportunity to let them know it’s less likely to tarnish than sterling. These gorgeous silver rings are cast for us and finished by hand in the United Kingdom and come out with a beautiful layer of white pure silver which is polished off by hand after the sprues are removed.

With curved over edges to hold the resin in place. The Chunky Signet Ring is a wide band and not comfort fit, meaning it has a flat band internally with a gap as shown. We highly recommend you find out your client’s ring size and recommend they go up one UK size (half a US size) to allow for the tight fit. You cannot resize these rings once filled with resin; they can be enlarged prior to filling, up to two UK sizes, with care by a silversmith experienced in working with 940 silver, please get in touch for advice. You may be able to enlarge mechanically after making but this may disturb the resin. The same goes for enlarging or reducing with laser welding.

Chunky Signet Ring Finish

The signet rings are polished to a satin finish. We try to remove all scratches from the production process but can’t always spot everything so if you have any questions about the item you’re received please just get in touch.

Customers may wish to give their rings a quick polish before sending, you can buy a silver polishing cloth from us here. If you have an established business and would like some branded polishing cloths we use this company for our Tree of Opals cloths!
