Text Engraving service for Keepsaker Supplies for our ring settings, necklace settings, and engraving blanks. Does not include a physical shipped product.  For the Image Engraving service click here! 10 working day lead time from receipt of all engraving information and payment, so please make sure to add an extra four weeks or so to your own maximum lead times. You must add the text engraving product at the checkout and specify in the comments which piece it’s for. One engraving position per piece (central, inside etc) so if you would like inside and outside of a ring engraved please purchase the additional engraving.

Memorial and Breastmilk Jewellery Engraving Pieces

We can engrave text on and of our engravable jewellery settings and findings, the inside or outside of our silver ring bands and necklace settings, and our washers and blank bead cores.

Laser Engraved Text Options

Add your text, any amount of characters – upper and lower case, numbers and punctuation in your chosen font. You can choose Roman numerals, birth, marriage or death coordinates (we’re happy to help you work that out), or messages of love and hope, remembrance. We are even happy to include more “colourful” language. The more letters you choose, the smaller the writing will be.

Here are some special characters you can copy and paste, they will appear in black and may be a slightly different shape when engraved. We can do heart, sun, moon left or right, star, infinity symbol, musical notes (pair of quavers), droplet/teardrop, paw prints, footprints, horseshoe, butterfly. Please ask for more!

Engraving Fonts

Engraving is done in Arial font as standard but please let us know if you’d prefer another font such as Times New Roman, Vivaldi, Amazone BT, or Silver South Serif & Script. Click on each font to see it “in action” with your client’s chosen words. We can work with any font, please get in touch to discuss alternatives., in the comments of the product before adding it to the basket. We recommend Arial, Times New Roman or Silver South Serif for long messages, and handwriting fonts like Vivaldi, Amazone BT or Silver South Script are great for short messages and on larger pieces like the silver large heart engraved pendant and the 6mm shiny wide ring option.

We are happy to engrave “sweary” messages and we are usually able to do some special characters and accents but please double check with us by email or message before accepting the order and we may need to do it as an image instead or another font. The length of the text we can fit depends on the font style and the size of the piece so again please double check if you’re unsure.

Proof checking

We will NOT proof the engraving so if you send over the text without specifying font, position and location we will do it in arial font in the position we think looks best. We will NOT check spelling and position so if it’s engraved as you’ve asked and you then realise it’s wrong, we will charge you again to engrave and for the cost of the piece if it can’t be sanded out.

Lead time

Usually they can be done within a few days once the setting is ready if you are desperate but please enquire before you place your order and additional fees may be required for last minute or urgent engraving additions. Usual lead time will be 10 working days on top of existing lead times, for example a 10 working day ring plus engraving is 20 working days which is usually around a month. This is because Nikki is a single mum working part time and the only one a) making rings and b) using the laser engraver right now. Hopefully this will change in the future.
