Description

Introducing the Slow Speed Ring Turner (SSRT) – an absolute game-changer for your handmade rings and creative projects!

Motor Type = 5v USB
Motor Speed = 5rpm (or 10rpm)
Cable Length = 14 inches (approximately)

Featuring cutting-edge 3D printed components, the SSRT delivers a stunning blend of durability and innovation. Don’t be fooled by their metallic appearance, as these parts are crafted from high-quality PLA plastic, meticulously designed and thoroughly tested.

The assembly process is straightforward – simply attach the base to the SSRT using the provided screws. Our 3D printed ring mandrels slide seamlessly onto the motor shaft, offering a secure and precise fit.

Now let’s talk about the Self-Centering Ring Chuck.
By twisting the plates in opposite directions, you can effortlessly actuate the chuck, enabling you to grip your rings from the outside so that you can apply your finish to the inside.

For those seeking an even tighter hold, a simple quarter turn of the centre screw between the plates will do the trick. And if you find yourself in need of some extra hold look no further than the wingnuts on the back of the chuck. Adjust them to increase or decrease friction, guaranteeing a secure grip that won’t loosen during your creative process.

Should any rare hiccups occur, we’ve got you covered with our exceptional warranty and customer support. If, within 30 days of receiving your unit, a motor encounters any issues, we’ll replace it free of charge. All parts of this unit are replaceable. We offer additional repair and replacement services as needed.

Adjusting a Client’s Ring Size

If your client orders a wide fit band like our channel ring then perhaps choose a ring in one UK size (or half a US size) larger than the size they provide. If they choose a chunky band ring (3mm or wider in a flat shank) then we recommend making the ring a UK size above to make up for the extra area of skin compressed by the shank. For example, if they measure a size P then make a Q chunky ring. For US 6 ring size, go up to a size 6 1/2. Clients may not understand this but all you can do is your best to make a recommendation; clients may still want the size P but just let them know they can’t get the ring enlarged if it’s a filled channel ring and will need to be remade from scratch or worn as a necklace instead. You may even wish to send them the ring before adding their ashes etc to check it fits. Clients can add a ring reducer but they’re not too comfortable.

Sterilise them in between clients with  biodegradable plant fibre wipes. If working with UV resin we recommend you work in layers to achieve beautiful depths of colour.
