How To Use Label Backing Paper
Simply place a line of resin along a strip of the Label Backing Paper then place on the hair or fur. Use a pair of Hairdressing Scissors (click here) to cut the hair to the desired length then use a cocktail stick to move the hair into your mould or design. You can also use it as a non-stick backing for drying designs with hair or fur, petals or fabrics with. For manipulating hair, some people use a mixture of PVA (Elmer’s/school glue) and water, or hairspray to get the hair to stay in place after it’s cut to make shapes like a heart or a tree of life.
Label Backing Paper makes a great clean base for a little ball of our White Putty (here) to fix a piece for curing resin, either epoxy resin or UV resin, especially to apply out UV Top Coat.
