Using Carbide Burr Bit
Use with caution and proper personal protective equipment such as masks and protective eye goggles. Ideal for use with resin or wood. Please note, you may need to change the collet to accept different size bits to take this size (3.175mm) but usually not.
If working with UV resin we recommend you work in layers to achieve beautiful depths of colour.
Cord and Hair Bead Tutorial with Core Painting Technique Video
Learn to make baby keepsake jewellery using a silicone mould in this tutorial. This technique is ideal for making beads for your clients’ Pandora style bracelets. Finishing the bead with a painted core then adding a solid sterling silver engraved core finding. To add ashes or breastmilk to this bead you would add them at the same time as the umbilical cord (or instead of). Add the ashes and milk AFTER adding the hair then the clear resin. Breastmilk would be preserved and dried then mixed with clear UV resin into a paste before adding.

I’ve ordered both. They’re so helpful for cleaning up the bead molds and finishing off edges.

I’m very satisfied with the carbide burr received, so helpful preparing the beads for caps.
