The Hannah Marquise Ring Setting

The Hannah Marquise is a simple, elegant ring setting for keepsake and memorial jewellery makers. It is a lovely shape, with enough detail to feel special while still being easy to wear every day. 

Direct pour, but can be used with an 8x4mm marquise cabochon mould which you then glue in.  It works beautifully with breastmilk, ashes, hair etc, suitable for both epoxy and UV.

This ring is engravable, so you can add a hidden name, date, word or small detail inside the band for your client. Please get in touch if you would like a quote for a solid gold version.

    How to Make It Yours

    1. Choose your metal This ring is made in solid silver*

    2. Choose your kit Add on a DIY kit if you like, including UV medium and preservation powder (see below).

    3. Add your engraving A hidden name, a date they'll never forget, engraved inside the band, just for your client. We can work with pretty much any font, so get in touch if you have something specific in mind. A few of our most loved symbols:

    We can also do image engraving: handwriting, fingerprints, footprints, paw prints, handprints, or a pattern that means something to your client.

    3. It comes to you: economically but safely shipped, ready to turn into a piece of wearable art for your clients

    • 10g bottle of UV medium
    • sandpaper

    • 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder and Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions (feel free to decline or pass this on if not needed!)


    You can also request some practice ashes/faux cremains here. You might also want to provide the following optional items yourself (not included):

    *Solid Silver - Ring Material

    which you can call 925 sterling silver, but it's actually Argentium 940 which is slightly purer and more tarnish-resistant than sterling! Argentium is 100% recycled EcoSilver to protect the planet. Made in the UK from scratch (cast in England, finished by hand in Wales). See my page on Types of Solid Silver for more info.

    The rings are made with a satin finish as standard. You can leave it satin, brush it back with sandpaper, or polish it to a mirror shine in your own workshop.

    Nikki’s Tip: The cool, silver-grey hue of silver makes bright opal flecks and dark hair inclusions “pop”

    Hannah Ring Size

    True fit, meaning we do not recommend you adjust your client's size to allow for fit. If they're a UK size P, choose a size P. US ring size 8, go for an 8. You cannot resize these rings after you fill with inclusions; you are always welcome to return or exchange if they don’t fit your client, so long as you haven’t added inclusions yet!

    Upselling

    We recommend you buy a compatible necklace setting, for example a small necklace setting (for example) to accompany this ring and once you've made the ring, you can offer to make a necklace for a small extra charge (£30 or so). Around half of your customers will take you up on this.

    This ring also works well with a ring holder necklace, especially for clients who work with their hands or need to take their ring off during the day.
