The Channel Bead Settings
The Channel Bead Settings are an easy bracelet setting for keepsake and memorial jewellery makers. With a simple design that's easy for your client to wear every day, solid sterling silver Pandora style bracelet finding.
It works beautifully with breastmilk, ashes, hair etc, suitable for both epoxy and UV. No need for a mould, this is a direct pour channel setting, which you can learn to do on our free course here.
This setting is engravable, so you can add a very small name, date, word or small detail on the side for your client. Please get in touch if you would like a quote for a solid gold version.
How to Make It Yours
1. Choose your metal This bead setting is made in solid silver*
2. Choose your kit Add on a DIY kit if you like, including UV medium and preservation powder (see below).
3. Add your engraving A hidden name, a date they'll never forget, just for your client. We can work with pretty much any font, so get in touch if you have something specific in mind. A few of our most loved symbols:

We can also do image engraving: handwriting, fingerprints, footprints, paw prints, handprints, or a pattern that means something to your client.
How It Works
- Order: design your bead above and place your order, don't forget a bottle of Padico Star Drop UV if it's a paid piece for a client
- We get to work: the core is carefully packaged within our current turnaround time (see our FAQs and Terms of Service)
- It comes to you: economically but safely shipped, ready to turn into a piece of wearable art for your clients
Necklace Kit Contents
If you'd like to buy this pendant as a kit you'll receive:
- your chosen setting
- single practice setting
- 1x pair of vinyl gloves
- dust mask
- 3 cocktail sticks
- vibrant sparkle mix sample (random colour)
- 10g bottle of UV medium
- sandpaper
- label backing paper
- 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder and Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions (feel free to decline or pass this on if not needed!)
You can also request some practice ashes/faux cremains here. You might also want to provide the following optional items yourself (not included):

- LED UV torch** or a good UV lamp for professionals
- bottle of Padico Star Drop UV HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
- curved burnisher to push down the points (a teaspoon works!)
- Ultra Fine Sharpie

*Solid Silver - Material
Made from recycled EcoSilver to protect the planet, solid 925 sterling silver. See my page on Types of Solid Silver for more info.
The pendants are made with a satin finish as standard. You can leave it satin, brush it back with sandpaper, or polish it to a mirror shine in your own workshop.
Nikki’s Tip: The cool, silver-grey hue of silver makes bright opal flecks and dark hair inclusions “pop”
Core Size
Calibrated to standard Chamilia and Pandora bracelets, large hole bead compatible, also known as a European bead. Just under 6mm internal hole width.
