Ours are made from water-clear silicone, so they suit UV resin beautifully and give a lovely clear finish with no sanding or polishing afterwards. Each one is checked before it goes out. The one thing a kit doesn't include: preserving the milk

This is the step most people don't realise comes first, so it's worth explaining. Fresh milk can't simply be poured into resin, it needs to be turned into a stable form that won't spoil. That's what breast milk preservation powder is for: you heat a small amount of milk (around 5ml) with the powder to create a preserved ‘stone’ or powder you can then mix into your resin.

You'll want to set aside roughly 14ml of milk in total; a few teaspoons, or about half an ounce, which gives you enough to work with comfortably. Preservation powder is sold separately, so if your chosen kit doesn't include it, add a pack to your order and you'll have everything you need.
