Description

Orb Dangle Earring Kit for making dangly pearl earrings with resin. The kit includes the mould, settings and other supplies to make a beautiful pair of dangly pearl-style earrings. The sphere moulds make 9mm orbs or pearls, the headpins are 6cm in length and 0.8mm wide headpin with a shiny domed base.

You can include a silver necklace chain for your customer. This will give you everything you need for a beautiful sphere necklace for your clients. You can buy an bezel earring kit here if you prefer, and here is the listing to buy earring wires in multi-packs.

Silver Orb Dangle Earring Kit Contents

If you’d like to buy this kit you’ll receive:

• 2 x solid silver 6mm domed headpins
• 2 x solid silver earring settings

double 9 or 8mm sphere mould

• 1x pair of vinyl gloves
• 3 cocktail sticks
• resin sparkle mix sample (random colour)
• 10g bottle of UV resin
• 1mm drillbit
• some sandpaper
• label backing paper
• 1x sachet Breastmilk Preservation Powder and these Breastmilk Preservation Powder PDF Instructions (breastmilk kit only)

You can also request some practice ashes here. You’ll also need to provide yourself (not included):

• an epoxy resin starter kit or a gel nail lamp
• your clients’ elements an any additional sparkles, precious metal leaf or dried flowers etc
• a small USB drill or a Dremel style rotary tool work to make a hole, but a pearl drill will make sure it’s drilled spot on in the centre
• a necklace chain (see below) or a lobster clasp or a European setting for dangle charms

Here is a tutorial video with a little more detail on creating a loop. Don’t forget to make the loop large enough to fit in your necklace chain. You can practice with some inexpensive silver plated headpins like these before using ours with your clients’ precious elements

Orb Dangle Earring Kit 8mm Orb Size

Size: 8mm sphere each with a ball headpin, 2mm wide ball headpin base, 6cm long headpin in 0.8mm wide wire. The headpin looks like a mushroom and is perfect for setting fully drilled spheres made from our sphere moulds (click here). The base is not large enough to cover the sanding area from the pouring spout on most of our spheres, you will need to cover it carefully with top coat. We always recommend you get a finish as perfect as possible on your sphere before fully drilling.

935 Antitarnish Silver

The silver in the Silver Orb Necklace Kit is 935 antitarnish silver, which is 100% recycled (including our own scrap silver!). They are made from a custom 935 antitarnish white silver. We attach a sterling silver jump ring. Please see our blog on Types of Solid Silver which explains the care instructions for the silver and the metal content. You can advertise these as 935 antitarnish silver or 925 sterling silver.

The silver in these settings is 935 antitarnish silver, which is 100% recycled. They are Argentium silver from Cooksongold. We use sterling silver solder paste.
